I have been so incredibly blessed with meeting some amazing families over the last 7 years. But this family has been by my side from early on! I met Niko’s mama years ago for a headshot session and led to a friendship. I have been there from the start as I shot their engagement, wedding, a session with their fur babies, maternity, newborn, a Christmas session and now Niko’s one year!! WHEW!! THANK YOU FOR BEING AMAZING CLIENTS!! It has truly been an honor to watch their love story unfold and then be able to celebrate them building their family. Niko is the BEST little boy and I cannot wait to see him transition into a wild toddler ;) !!

Meet Blaine!! I met his mom and dad when they were pregnant with him and I have loved capturing some of his big milestones this year!! He is such a great little kiddo and has the most amazing blue/gray eyes!! We got to start our session outside because we had incredible weather in January! And finished up indoors with a construction themed cake smash! At first he was super curious about that cake and then instantly hated the frosting on his hands! He gave us some great shots and in true cake smash form we got some hilarious photos of him not loving that frosting! ;) This was such a fun smash to create and Blaine did amazing!! He has so much personality and is just the cutest kiddo EVER!! Here are some of my favorites.

Watching this gorgeous girl grow up has been so incredibly special to me. From being in her mama’s belly to her cake smash I have loved every session. I have loved seeing her hit every new milestones and become a gorgeous little girl. We went with a rose gold and cream color themed smash and it was PERFECT. Ellie was so polite as she enjoyed a few licks of frosting and gave us some great shots!! Ellie you are such a beauty and I cannot wait to see you again! Here are some of my favorites!!

LIAM TURNS ONE! | MILESTONE PHOTOGRAPHER | STAFFORD, VIRGINIA

I love photographing cake smashes! I do not shoot them as much as I want too, BUT every once in awhile you get one like this and it reminds you of how much fun they can be. Liam was by far one of the best cake smashes I have ever photographed. I loved his airplane setup and he came to the session ready. He DESTROYED that cake and had a blast. It was fantastic!! This little guy is such a character and I loved every minute of this session.

This is one of my favorite families to photograph!! Years ago we met Grissel and Josue at Starbucks to discuss all things wedding. They were the cutest couple and so in love and over the moon talking about their upcoming wedding. (I think its been 6 years, but don’t hold me to that because my brain is mush now and I feel like they have been in our lives as long as I can remember). I have had the absolute pleasure of working with them so many times in those years to capture not one but two of their gorgeous girls milestones. This past summer we celebrated sweet little Camila’s first birthday with an outdoor family/cake smash session in Arlington. It was a beautiful summer evening and the flowers were blooming and the light was glowing. Everything about the session was perfect! Here are my favs:

This little beauty turned one last fall and her cake smash was AMAZING!!  Nothing better than a winter wonderland theme!! I had a blast capturing this sweet girl for her newborn, 6 month, and now her one year milestones!!  Vivienne is so full of personality and we had so much fun watching her destroy her cake!!  Here are my favorites :)

I had so much fun capturing this little guy's first year! OH JACK!!  I love this kid!!!  He graduated from his milestone package last summer!  I absolutely LOVE being able to capture milestones of my newborns and so bittersweet when they turn one!  I adore this family so much and have felt so honored to capture their baby journey from maternity all the way to Jack's one year session!  He was just a teeny little nugget at his newborn session and is now the most handsome little dude!
